Biostatistics-Bioinformatics

The main objective of this programme is to use and develop bioinformatic and biostatistical tools in analyses of clinical and biological data.

Central activities in this programme are the following:

• Address the specific statistical and computational issues raised by the scientific activities in the centre

• Development of statistical models, inference procedures and tools useful in a wider biomedical context

• Use of bioinformatics in filtration of genome information

• Development of image analysis tools for nucleomics and nucleotyping
